Everyone at Rescue Me Animal Sanctuary is a volunteer, we have no paid staff at all.
Without our wonderful team of dedicated volunteers we simply wouldn't be able to function.
There are so many ways in which you can volunteer and this can be as little or often as you can commit to.
As we do not currently have our own purpose built sanctuary we rely on foster homes to look after the animals while they are looking for their new homes. For more information on becoming a foster carer click on
We often need help transporting animals to and from the vets, foster homes and our base in Waterloo.
We often get notified of emergency situations and need transport for sick or injured cats at short notice.
If you would like to be added to our list of drivers then please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
Before any of our animals leave for their forever home we conduct a house visit with the potential family. This is not a spot check on peoples cleaning etc but a chance to chat with the family, ask questions to ensure everyone is happy and give a chance for adopteers to ask questions. We are always on the look out for people to help with homechecks across Merseyside and the Wirral. Please email us if you think you can help email@example.com
We are often running stalls, car boots and tombolas and always need people to help run these events.
We also encourage people to come up with their own fun and creative ways to fundraise for the charity and have a list of ideas on our FUNDRAISING PAGE
We often need help with running our website, keeping our records up to date and general admin work. This also involves helping with producing posters, jpgs and leaflets for events. We would love help from someone who is very confident on computers at producing art work and also a helping hand with our admin work at our base in Waterloo. Please email us if you think you can help firstname.lastname@example.org
